The days refer to working days, which excludes weekends and public holidays.
Delivery dates cannot be guaranteed unless previously agreed before orders are placed.
It is the customer's responsibility to provide a correct shipping address during the checkout process. If the address is sent to the wrong address because the customer supplied the wrong details, the customer will not receive a refund. The customer will be given the option to pay for the postage for the item to be sent to the correct address.
Any items returned to me due to an incorrect, outdated, or insufficient address or that have not been collected by the buyer following attempted delivery, will incur new shipping charges, or will be refunded minus the original shipping charge (personalised/custom orders are not refundable/returnable). I will only ship to the address shown on the order.
UK shipping is via Royal Mail's First Class services.
International orders are sent by Royal Mail's International services. According to Royal Mail’s website, delivery to Europe is within 3 to 5 working days of posting and to the rest of the world within 5 to 7 working days of posting. However, this refers to the time for the package to arrive in the country of destination and not subsequent Customs clearance and onward transmission by local postal services, which unfortunately can take much longer (4-6 weeks in some cases).
Most international orders arrive within around 10-20 business days, however please note that we cannot obviously guarantee a delivery date and I am not responsible for delays due to Customs. Please allow extra time for your parcel to arrive around seasonal events or public/bank holidays.
The customer is responsible for paying any tax, import duties and/or customs charges that may be levied on overseas orders.
Orders are usually posted very first thing on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and so the cut off time for items to be posted on those days are 9pm (UK time) the day before. If you need your item in a hurry, please do contact me to let me know and I will make a special run on Tuesdays or Thursdays where possible.
Additional policies and FAQs
All of my glass work is made entirely by hand and is annealed in a digitally controlled kiln to ensure strength and durability. Each piece is then cleaned by hand and thoroughly checked under a magnifying lens for cracks or imperfections; a final check is made at the point of packaging to ensure my valued customers will receive a perfect piece of art.
Every care is taken to clean and anneal my glass work. Please remember, though, it is still glass and should be treated as such. Whilst much of my work is bright and happy and some of the sculpted pieces are sometimes stylised and somewhat "cartoony", they are not suitable for children. I bear no responsibility for any accidents arising from inappropriate treatment and use of my glasswork.
Please note that I strive to represent all my artwork accurately in my photographs and make them as representative as possible. I photograph all my work under professional lighting in order to show the colours and textures in each piece to their full effect. Note that the colours may vary under different lighting conditions or when displayed as photographs on different monitors.
If anything is damaged when it reaches you, contact me immediately but no later than 14 days after they reach you so I can raise a claim with the carrier.
Minor repairs to jewellery items are free of labour charge. However, if I need to use any materials during the repair, these will be charged at cost. The customer will be responsible for secure carriage in both directions.
